But I would also like to bring to the attention of the author that this was achieved in Michael Arock Sir’s class where every student knew very well that the more effort they put in the better were the rewards.. no favouritism whatever…

In HTs class, even if you are good with your academics, rewards go to the select favorites. Why shall one put his efforts then ?

This is so funny!
I happen to belong to the same batch as Mr. Garg, where HT took one single class of 3 hours for the whole semester! And that was for AI. In case Mr. Garg [the self-proclaimed Mr. Winner, as others seem to be whining losers] still remember and applied what she taught that day, I pity your employer, because what she taught that day was wrong! She had done a wrong assignment somewhere in middle and after I pointed out that mistake she started shouting! Nevertheless, she never ended up proving it correctly!

I’ve seen both the sides of HT being one of the favorites and later probably the most despised! While I was a favorite, I’ve enjoyed her scooty rides (and not just in campus even outside), bhajjis at snacky, home visits, exemptions from attending classes, proximity with all deans and director (at one time everyone knew me by name), and possibly a few grade points!
And when the coin flipped, it was the opposite of everything, to the extent that allegedly she even had a bet with one of my classmates that I’d never get an on campus offer.

I can’t comment on her teaching skills (but I have serious doubts that she has any), otherwise she’s highly temperamental, judgmental and too proud to accept her mistakes. She is a failed administrator and as many have mentioned she is very high on favoritism and regionalism!

It is better to be a loser than a boot/a** licker. That’s a fact no one is born favorite but people with some self respect will rather prefer to be unfavored in the book of your so called “HT” Ma’am. Had you attended a whole semester you would have been planning to ……
It seems that you were hurt more than her(assuming she read all the comments ) by views put above by non-sychophants unlike you.

Disclaimer: HT ma’am took only 2 or 3 hours of classes for our batch and I was not a favorite of hers.

But I believe a student is not born favorite and it’s only up to the student to become favorite.

I read people uttering words like “National Institute”, “nothing going into my head”, “bold ones playing in the class”. Is this the quality of students one should have in a national institute? If cleanup is required, it has to be across the board.

As she said, “students put in extra effort and reach at least 50% of that”, is what a national institute student should do. I still remember what she taught us in those 2-3 hours and it recently helped me.

I too disagree with HT’s way of teaching, but I also disagree with loser’s talk about not being a favorite.
