Vandana was standing, watching her parents and grand parents leave her alone in hostel.
She felt so bad that she cried..
Why did she feel so bad when she knew that she was going to meet them over the weekend?
What made her ask in her mind “please stay with me for one more day!”
The situation is not going to change if it was a day later.
Things move on..
She would have fought a hundred times with her boyfriend…
But what made her heart sink when she told him a “Good Bye!”
What made her ask in her mind.. “Please spend the evening with me.”
An evening wouldnt make it any better. She just wonders “Why does it happen to me!”
Things move on..
She got a call from home that her grand mother expired!!
She rushes back home.. She cried and cried!
What made her ask god.. “Please make her stay with me for one more year!”
She wouldnt have cried any less a year later!
Infact, She will miss her even more. She again wonders “why should this happen only to me!”
Things move on.. Its almost time to pass out..
She was always bored of lectures.
What made her come out of “Last Lecture” with a heavy heart??
What made her ask in her mind.. “Please take one more class…”
When she walked out of the gates of her legendary college,
what made her feel “Please stay here for one more day!”
Telling bye is such a common thing in life..
But what made her feel bad when she told her last “Bye folks” in the railway station..
Why was she not able to accept the end?
“Why should this happen to me”, cringes her heart!
Asking for more time, Without accepting the fact,
that, in life, its all just a part!
But move on says her mind, accepting to depart!

Its such encouraging comments that makes me give my best!
Yeah, just one more holiday when we know that we have to go to class again..One more night to sleep with mom when you know the next day you gotta leave her..Just one more postponement of exam date when you know that you have to write it one day or the other..Just five more minutes of sleep when you know your dreams will be broken if not now in five more minutes..All things are so fragile..But hope make us wish, the tonic that makes life running

Hi Sundar,
I have been reading ur mail since a long time, but for the first time i am writing a comment. I really appreciate ur way of taking interviews and above all your posts in which u articulately collect small things that happen in day to day life, which nobody cares and present it in a very beautiful and meaningful way.
Keep it up dude…
