Iraivaa

15 January 2011 9 Comments

Man.. in his lifetime, tries his best to reconcile the existence of a super natural force.. A force, which some call GOD..

This seemingly contradictory force called leaves him with more questions than answers… After tussling with the inexplicable differences.. suffering from inequalities.. taking a beating with realities of life.. just when he is on the verge of giving up.. he goes through an enlightening moment.. The aha momemt, when he understands that God is nothing but a centripetal force, amidst the centrifugal forces called life.. My 33rd poem – A short poem captures this enthralling & enlightening moment..

========

Iraivaa..

Meaning:

You told me you are in the pillar..
You told me you are in the small piece of iron as well..
I bravely decided to grate it and find out…
You told me you are within me..

I came to you as a smiling small kid..
You told me you are in experience..
I experience life and came to you tattered..
You told me you are the smiling kid..

You told me your greatness is like himalayas..
You told me you are like the unclimbable heights..
If I come near you to understand you..
You stood there like a vast bottomless pit (You are soo deep)

I told I dont understand your hide and seek..
You told me to open my eyes and see..
I told I dont understand these differences
You told God is the unity amidst those differences..

O God!!

Good one kanna, It is true that all of us are searching endlessly to find GOD… I know we will find him often but do not realize that it is HIM through actions of others. I wish he was available instantly to resolve many miseries and answers to the prayers of all of us.

    One quick note :
    Sirrikkum Siruvanai Vandhen, not Siriyanai…
    Siruvan is a kid..

    Love and hugs, Atthai.
