Kalaigyanin Thakali Rasam

26 June 2010 7 Comments

This is my third poem in tamil and it derives its inspiration from the Rasam which I cooked today :)

Thakali Rasam

Thala Thalakkum Thakkazhi Tanniyudan kaatum paasam
Meda Medhakkudhakkudhu mele.. Indha kotthamalli Karuvaipilaiyin Naesam..

Thaga Thagavendru kodhikudhaiyya… Mann Paanai Aduppu..
Cheva Chaveppaai yeriyudhappa.. Suttu posukkum Neruppu..

Parandhu parandhu varugudhaiyya.. gummunu oru vaasum
Verondrum illai idhu.. Oru Kalaigyanin thakkali rasam

I have words to translate.. :) It talks about the tomato & the curry leaves.. the redness of the fire.. and freshness of the smell.. Such is the rasam of an artist.. :)
