My first date with entrepreneurship

Hi All…

Let me start off with a good news!!

A friend of mine here at IIMB – Suraj Holla & I are setting up a new initiative for career planning of Engineering students.. It is an extension of Coffee With Sundar..

We are calling it as Whatnext Online. The website is getting developed.. Will update you when it gets going.. But the offline part of it has just got started.. We had a session at Dayanand Sagar College last saturday.. And it was quite successful. We had an overwhelmingly positive response..
Around 69 students enrolled for a 3 hour session.. I was amazed with their curiosity & communication skills.. This is our last show before we go for summers.. After our internship, we will resume our career shows in campus.. The next 3 months will be spent in building a top class website for the same..

What does this mean for CWS readers.. All career related interviews will be moved to the new website.. And CWS will again get the “informal, yet classic interviews”.. CWS will have generic interviews.. but one thing is for sure.. I will make it a point to ensure that every post on CWS from now on is going to be special..

You will also hear a lot more from me as we tread the path of being an entrepreneur You know what.. the past 1 month has been a lot of learnings.. negotiations.. designs.. what goes in.. what goes out.. how to distribute work.. finding right people.. questionnaires.. etc… Watch this space, as I update some of my learnings about setting up a new venture..
