After a long time, I went to carnatic music section of musicindiaonline.com

And requested the top 10 songs. Everytime I have done this in the past (3 years or so), I have always got Kurai Ondrum Illai at the top. However, today that isnt the case – We have bantureeti kozhu from Unni Krishnan. This is the first time I am seeing this and I was absolutely shocked.

I can see a few ganesha songs rising in the list because of ganesha chaturthi, but still, couldnt believe my eyes that kurai ondrum illai – one the all time greatests of carnatic music, is removed from the 1st position.
